What is with this craze and when is it going to stop? It was all right a few years back when an oddly dressed teen would show up here and there covering an eye with their sculpted, multi-colored hair, but who would have Ever known it would turn into this whiny, get-emo-or-get-out fad? I look at them as a cheap, more vocal spin-off of a goth. However, they're taking away what could have once been seen as something beautiful or exotic in a gothic person- their mystery, their silence. And now all they're good for is filling up radio air-waves with high-pitched voices and songs about "love". The last time I checked and had a good while with my fiance, love was something pleasant and happy, not something that comes and goes and you just have to spill your own blood every time you lose that someone. It takes immaturity and drama to all new heights, and in this day and age, I don't think anyone needs that added stress.
